A legally binding agreement between you and OnlineJobs University. By creating an account or enrolling in a course, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1 · Who We Are

OnlineJobs University is a US-based vocational skills training platform for Filipino remote workers. The “University” descriptor reflects our practitioner-grade learning standards — not academic or government-recognized status. We are not part of the Philippine formal education system and do not grant academic degrees.

2 · Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register. The platform has two roles: Students who enroll in and complete courses, and Instructors — also referred to as Course Creators or Creators — who create and deliver them. Instructors are additionally governed by the Course Creator Terms, which take effect on submission of a course or acceptance through the creator portal.

3 · Zero Upsell Policy

“Core content” means any knowledge, skill, tool, process, or methodology necessary for a student to achieve the competency outcome stated in the course listing. Supplementary or advanced content offered as a separately priced course is permitted, provided the enrolled course is fully complete as described. OLJU will acknowledge reported violations within 5 business days, complete investigation within 15 business days, notify the student of the outcome, and where a violation is confirmed, issue a full refund and take appropriate action against the instructor.

4 · What OnlineJobs University Is and Is Not

OLJU provides practitioner-led courses, practical assessments, and Certified Badges linked to your OnlineJobs.ph profile. OLJU does not offer academic degrees, government-recognized qualifications, recruitment services, or employment guarantees.

5 · Certified Badges

OLJU Certified Badges are awarded exclusively on specifically approved and vetted courses — not all courses on the platform carry badge eligibility. Badge eligibility is determined by OLJU during the course approval process based on assessment rigor and curriculum completeness. For badge-eligible courses, a badge is awarded upon passing all required assessments and a graded final project reviewed and approved by the course instructor. Badges are displayed on your linked OnlineJobs.ph profile to signal assessed competency to prospective employers. Every badge award notification confirms the credential’s platform-issued, non-academic nature. Badges may be revoked only for: (a) fraudulent assessment submissions; (b) account termination for serious misconduct; or (c) material course quality failure. Written notice and a 10-business-day response window are provided before any revocation. Revocations may be appealed to support@olju.ph within 15 business days. OLJU will maintain badge records for as long as the platform operates. In the event of a material change to the OLJU-OnlineJobs.ph integration or platform closure, OLJU will provide enrolled students with no less than 60 days’ written notice and will make badge completion records available for export.

6 · Intellectual Property

Course Creators retain full ownership of all intellectual property in their course content. By publishing on OLJU, Creators grant OLJU a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, market, and deliver the course through the platform. This license is non-exclusive: Creators remain free to publish and sell the same course content on other platforms, independently, or in any other format at any time. Students receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access purchased content for their own professional development only. Redistribution, resale, or creation of derivative works from any course content is prohibited.

7 · Payments and Refunds

All purchases are final because courses provide immediate access to digital content. A refund will be issued in one circumstance only: a confirmed Zero Upsell Policy violation attributable to the course instructor, following OLJU’s investigation process as described in Section 3. Refund requests must be submitted to support@olju.ph within 30 calendar days of the triggering event. Approved refunds are processed within 15 business days. Nothing in this clause limits any remedy available to Filipino consumers under RA 7394 (Consumer Act) or RA 11967 (Internet Transactions Act) that cannot be contractually excluded.

8 · Account Termination

Free accounts may be suspended or terminated without prior notice for policy violations. Paid accounts receive written notice and 10 business days to respond before action — except for serious misconduct including piracy, fraud, or threats, where immediate termination applies. Pro-rated refunds apply to wrongful termination of paid accounts. All termination decisions may be appealed to support@olju.ph within 15 business days of notice. OLJU will respond to appeals within 10 business days.

9 · Limitation of Liability

OLJU’s total aggregate liability is capped at the greater of: amounts you paid in the preceding 3 months, or PHP 1,000. Indirect and consequential damages are excluded. These limits do not apply to fraud, gross negligence, or non-excludable statutory rights under RA 7394 or RA 11967.

10 · Independent Contractor Acknowledgment

OLJU trains workers for independent contractor engagements. Completing a course does not create employment with OLJU, your instructor, or any employer on OnlineJobs.ph. As an independent contractor, you are solely responsible for your own tax filings, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions. OLJU does not act as a recruiter, staffing agency, or employer of record.

11 · Philippine Law Compliance

As a platform serving Filipino consumers, OLJU acknowledges its obligations under RA 10173 (Data Privacy Act), RA 7394 (Consumer Act), and RA 11967 (Internet Transactions Act). Filipino users with unresolved complaints may contact the DTI E-Commerce Bureau or the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.

12 · Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, United States of America, where Flowing Air Studios LLC is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The parties agree to resolve disputes first through good-faith negotiation within 30 days. If unresolved, the courts of the State of Utah shall be the preferred venue. Nothing in this clause limits or waives any right a Filipino user holds under Philippine law, including the right to bring a matter before the appropriate Philippine court or government agency where Philippine law provides for it.

13 · Changes to These Terms

Non-material changes take effect upon posting. Material changes require 30 days’ advance email notice to your registered address. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14 · General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and — for Course Creators — the Course Creator Terms, constitute the entire agreement between the parties. Standard severability, waiver, and no-agency provisions apply.
